Mindset # 2 — Peace Spoken Is Peace Gained. (Proverbs 12:20)

The words you choose today will shape the atmosphere you live in tomorrow.

“A calm sunset reflected in still water surrounded by trees, creating a peaceful scene. Text reads: ‘Peace spoken is peace gained,’ symbolizing the power of words to bring calm and joy.”

“Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil: but to the counsellors of peace is joy.”

— Proverbs 12:20 (KJV)

Peace doesn’t begin with perfect circumstances.

It often begins with faithful words.

Our thoughts become words.
Our words influence our actions.
Our actions shape our lives.

Every conversation gives us an opportunity to plant either peace or conflict.

Jesus consistently spoke words that brought hope, healing, truth, and life. As His followers, our speech should reflect His heart.

Before speaking, ask yourself:

Will these words build peace?

When your words honor Christ, peace follows—not because every situation changes immediately, but because your heart remains anchored in Him.

Speak peace.

Live peace.

Reflect Christ.

The peace you speak today may become the peace someone else desperately needs tomorrow.

For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
