In 2008, I wrote I Met the Devil on the Road to Heaven—the unexpected part two to IT. I never intended for there to be a sequel, but it unfolded naturally. IT was about my start and Jesus being my finish, then I Met the Devil is about what came next.
Because when you find Jesus, you find freedom. Real freedom. But once you understand that, the enemy comes at you even harder. That’s what this second part is all about.
After surrendering to Christ, the blinders were lifted. I began to see the world for what it really was—how evil tried to push its way back into my life. The same temptations reappeared: drugs, sex, money, and all the shiny distractions meant to drag me backward.
But I didn’t go back.
I Met the Devil on the Road to Heaven is a glimpse into the battle that followed salvation. It’s a reminder that even when the devil shows up on your path, Jesus is still the Way. And because of Him, I walk in victory.
