The Unchanging Gifts of God – Steps Towards Eternity Daily Devotional

God’s gifts are eternal and His calling is sure.

“For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.” – Romans 11:29 (KJV)

God’s gifts and His calling on our lives are steadfast and eternal. Unlike human decisions that may waver or change, God never regrets the blessings and purpose He bestows on us. His gifts are holy, never leading us into sin or requiring repentance. However, how we use these gifts matters. If we misuse them or stray from His purpose, the need for repentance lies with us, not Him. His calling is pure and always aligned with His perfect will. Trust that what He gives you—be it talent, opportunity, or spiritual calling—is meant to glorify Him and to bless others.

Reflective Questions:

  •  How can you better align your gifts and calling with God’s purpose for your life today?
  •   Reflect on the gifts and talents God has entrusted to you.
  • Are you using them to honor Him and fulfill His calling in your life?

Remember:

If you feel disconnected from your purpose, know that God hasn’t changed His mind about you. Return to Him, realign with His will, and trust that He will guide you forward.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your unchanging gifts and calling. Help me to use all that You’ve given me to glorify Your name and fulfill Your purpose. Strengthen me to stay on the path of righteousness and guide me in using my talents to bless others. I pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
