Staying Rooted in God’s Wisdom Instead of Chasing Worldly Distractions
“Wisdom is before him that hath understanding; but the eyes of a fool are in the ends of the earth.”
—Proverbs 17:24 (KJV)
God’s wisdom is always present for those who walk in understanding. His children do not wander aimlessly, searching for meaning in empty pursuits. They have the Holy Spirit as their guide, and He never fails. Every step they take is Blessed, coming and going.
“Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.”
—Deuteronomy 28:6 (KJV)
This is the Lord’s promise to His people. In Christ, we find fulfillment, purpose, and wisdom. But the fool rejects wisdom and looks everywhere but to God—chasing after money, pleasure, and false religions, hoping to find satisfaction. Their eyes are set on distant things, while true wisdom has always been within reach.
As a child of God, your daily walk should reflect the wisdom He has given you. Stay rooted in His Word, listen to His Spirit, and live in the understanding that glorifies Him.

Prayer:
Lord, help me to keep my heart and mind fixed on You. Let me not be distracted by the empty pursuits of the world but walk in the wisdom and understanding You have given. Amen.
