I AM

Silencing fear with faith in the God who declares, “I AM.”

What If?

•    What if I get sick?
    •    What if my house loses its roof in a storm?
    •    What if I lose my job?
    •    What if my tire goes flat?
    •    What if my car breaks down?
    •    What if my reputation suffers?
    •    What if my doctor delivers bad news?
    •    What if my money runs out?
    •    What if I lack what it takes to succeed?
    •    What if I fail at every opportunity I get?
    •    What if I never find true love?
    •    What if I lose my closest loved ones?
    •    What if my worst fears come true?
    •    What if my choices ruin everything?
    •    What if I end up completely alone?
    •    What if I let down those who trust me?
    •    What if I never reach my dreams?
    •    What if I stay trapped in fear forever?

These questions creep into our minds in quiet moments and loud storms. But let this truth settle in your spirit: “What if” isn’t in God’s vocabulary—and it shouldn’t be in ours.

There will be times when we question our circumstances, but we must choose to believe God above all else. He never responds with “what if”—He responds with “I AM.”

“And even to your old age I AM he; and even to hoar (white/gray) hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.”
– Isaiah 46:4 (KJV)

God is with you in every trial, every unknown, every season of life. He cares deeply about every detail. When fear whispers uncertainty, His Word speaks peace and promise.

Fear thou not; for I AM with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”
– Isaiah 41:10 (KJV)

“Behold, I AM the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?”
-Jeremiah 32:27 (KJV)

Even in seasons of delay or confusion, God’s timing is always perfect.

“He hath made every thing beautiful in his time…”
-Ecclesiastes 3:11 (KJV)

He is not uncertain. He is not shaken. He is not limited.

“I AM Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.”
-Revelation 22:13 (KJV)

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
-John 16:33 (KJV)

Because God wanted you to have eternal life, He gave His very best—His only Son.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son…”
-John 3:16 (KJV)

So when fear says “What if?”
You say, “I am a child of God, and He shall supply my every need.”

“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
-Philippians 4:19 (KJV)

Let us be faithful witnesses to the truth of who He is and who we are in Him.

“Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen… I, even I, AM the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.”
-Isaiah 43:10-11 (KJV)

God does not lie. His promises are sure.

“God is not a man, that he should lie…”
-Numbers 23:19 (KJV)

When God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM,” it was a declaration of His eternal sufficiency. Jesus echoed this truth throughout His ministry:

I AM the resurrection, and the life…”
-John 11:25-26 (KJV)

“I AM the way, the truth, and the life…”
– John 14:6 (KJV)

And when you walk with Christ, “I AM” becomes the anchor of your identity and confidence.

I am a child of God.
I am redeemed by the blood of Christ.
I am chosen, loved, and destined for eternity.
I am walking in the strength of the great I AM.
