If we say that we belong to Jesus, then we should walk as Jesus walked. He isn’t just a part of our lives—He is the standard for how we live them. Every choice we make, every pursuit we follow, and every situation we encounter should be measured against Jesus’ life.
When we face the impossible—whether we need oceans to part, walls to crumble, or mountains moved—we have a faithful God who meets our every need.” There is nothing greater than our God. He is with us wherever we go, and He cannot be defeated.
We should become so much like Christ that when we speak, others can hear Christ talking; when we think, our mindset is so aligned with Jesus that it causes God joy daily; and our actions mirror Jesus to the point that they light up the world around us.
Jesus suffered and died to achieve the desired result God wanted for us—to deliver us from our sins and bring us into a new life by the baptism of the Holy Spirit. With our new life comes a new way of living, and the Holy Spirit teaches us how to walk in righteousness. Some of these changes may be mentally and physically painful.
We can never read our Bibles too much. You can overdo everything the world has to offer, but you can never overdo reading, meditating on, or speaking the Word of God. We should live each day with the belief that we can never get enough of Scripture.
God watches over His children at all times, and we can ask Him for anything. When we ask, let us not beat around the bush about it. He knows our hearts, souls, and minds. So when we approach God, let us keep that in mind, be bold, and lay everything on the table in prayer.
Everything we’re after is not of this world. Our prize is in heaven, where God has called us with a higher calling than anything this world has to offer. There is nothing of material value that could compare to what God has prepared for us.
Gold and rubies, though costly, can be assigned a price tag. Knowledge, however, is priceless. Even more remarkable is that God, who knows the exact amount of gold and rubies hidden in the earth and can count every grain of sand, offers wisdom freely to anyone who asks.
God defines love, and when you define love, then you display it at all times. There’s no hidden agenda; it is just pure love. We are commanded to let love be without dissimulation.
He did not abandon us; He gave His life for us. So, no matter where you are in life at this moment, know that if He was willing to die for you as a sinner, that alone should erase any doubt about the challenges you face now.
God’s light is unstoppable. When we surrender to Christ, He not only forgives but also sets our feet on the path of righteousness. It doesn’t matter what your sin is—what matters is that you turn to Jesus, who came to cleanse us and make us acceptable before God. He is the light of the world, and through Him, we are redeemed.
