Sin comes in many forms—through people, places, things, and even our own thoughts. The world constantly presents temptations, enticing us to stray from God’s path. But one thing is certain: God does not tempt us.
No matter what storms we face, we must keep our eyes on Jesus rather than focusing on how strong the storm appears. If we believe in Him, rather than the circumstances around us, we will walk by faith and not by sight.
As a loving Father, God desires a relationship built on truth. He never wants us to feel like we have to hide or pretend when we come to Him. He is trustworthy, patient, and compassionate. When we are open and transparent before Him, we experience the fullness of His presence and the peace that comes from knowing we are fully seen and deeply loved.
If you were to ask Him about the dinosaurs, He could give you the answer instantly—or even take you back to see them for yourself. He can bring you to any moment in history, for there is nothing beyond His knowledge or power. He knows our thoughts before we think them, our words before we speak them, and our actions before we take them.
Many misunderstood Jesus, mistaking His crucifixion for weakness. Imagine Him declaring Himself the Son of God, only to allow Himself to be crucified. To the world, it looked like defeat. Yet, His death on the cross was the greatest display of strength in history—and on the third day, they knew the truth.
We understand there is no profit in sin, so when the world comes with all its sought-after lust, we know and recognize it is not for us because we are of God, and He has made known to us what we are to do and not do.
And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise. – Luke 23:42-43 (KJV)
The greatest wealth, knowledge, wisdom, and understanding anyone can possess is God’s Word. Without it, we are spiritually dead; with it, we live forevermore.
As children of God, we understand that being poor or rich is not only about money. Most importantly, we know that when we invest our time in God, everything else begins to align. A relationship with Him brings stability, favor, and peace—even with those who oppose us.
When we do the right things in life (good works), we reflect Christ, and His marvelous light shines through us, glorifying God in heaven.
When we face the impossible—whether we need oceans to part, walls to crumble, or mountains moved—we have a faithful God who meets our every need.” There is nothing greater than our God. He is with us wherever we go, and He cannot be defeated.
