Jesus suffered and died to achieve the desired result God wanted for us—to deliver us from our sins and bring us into a new life by the baptism of the Holy Spirit. With our new life comes a new way of living, and the Holy Spirit teaches us how to walk in righteousness. Some of these changes may be mentally and physically painful.
We can never read our Bibles too much. You can overdo everything the world has to offer, but you can never overdo reading, meditating on, or speaking the Word of God. We should live each day with the belief that we can never get enough of Scripture.

He died for the doctor, the lawyer, the factory worker, the student, the judge, the prisoner, and the homeless man on the street corner. No one was beneath His love, and no one was beyond His sacrifice.
