Mindset #80 — The Cross Calls You Chosen. (1 Peter 2:9)

Your identity is not determined by your past—it is established by the One who called you.

Person standing beneath the shadow of a large cross with the message "The Cross Calls You Chosen," symbolizing identity, redemption, and God's calling through Jesus Chri

“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of HIM who hath called you out of darkness into HIS marvellous light.”

— 1 Peter 2:9 (KJV)

The cross doesn’t remind you of who you were.

It reminds you of whose you are.

The world may call you forgotten.
Broken.
Unworthy.
Unqualified.

But Christ calls you chosen.

Not because you earned it.
Not because you deserved it.

Because of His grace.

The moment you surrendered your life to Jesus, your identity changed forever.

You are no longer defined by failure.
You are defined by the Savior who redeemed you.

Walk in that identity.

The cross is not a symbol of defeat.

It is the place where your new life began.

The world may remember your past.

God remembers His promise.

For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
