Mindset #68 — You Cannot Follow Christ And Stay Unchanged. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

Christ doesn’t enter a life to leave it the same.

Cracked stone statue breaking apart with bold text saying “You Cannot Follow Christ And Stay Unchanged,” symbolizing spiritual transformation through Christ.

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

— 2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)

The love of Christ breaks what pride tries to preserve.

Some people build walls so high that nobody can reach them.

Pain hardens them.

Sin shapes them.

Ego protects them.

But Jesus changes people from the inside out.

Following Christ is not about wearing a label while remaining spiritually untouched.

It is transformation.

The hardest heart,

the coldest mindset,

the most stubborn pride—

none of it can withstand the power of God’s love forever.

When Christ truly enters a life,

something begins to break:

old desires,

old thinking,

old identity.

Not to destroy the person—

but to rebuild them into who they were created to be.

If Christ never changes us, we may only be following Him in words—not in truth.

For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
