Mindset #65 — Christ Over Ego. (Galatians 2:20)

When Christ leads your life, ego loses its voice.

Mindset #65 — Christ Over Ego. (Galatians 2:20) 1

“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”

— Galatians 2:20 (KJV)

Ego wants recognition.

Christ calls for surrender.

Ego pushes you to be seen,

to be right,

to be elevated.

But a Christ-centered life does something radical—

it dies to self.

When you truly walk with Christ,

your decisions aren’t driven by pride,

approval,

or personal gain.

They’re shaped by obedience.

You stop asking,

“How does this make me look?”

and start asking,

“Does this honor God?”

That shift changes everything.

Because you can’t be led by Christ

and controlled by ego at the same time.

Is your life being led by Christ—or influenced by ego?

For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
