Real love doesn’t avoid truth—it embraces it, speaks it, and stands on it.

“Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth.”
— 1 Corinthians 13:6 (KJV)
Love is often misunderstood.
Many believe love means agreement.
Silence.
Avoiding hard conversations.
But that’s not love.
That’s comfort.
The Bible tells us that real love rejoices in the truth.
True love doesn’t lie to keep peace.
It doesn’t hide truth to protect feelings.
It doesn’t pretend everything is okay when it’s not.
True love is honest.
Not harsh.
Not cruel.
But real.
If someone is truthful with you—even when it’s difficult—they are not against you.
They value you.
Because truth builds.
Truth corrects.
Truth protects.
And truth, when spoken in love, leads to growth.
That’s why real love and truth are never separated.
They walk together.
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
