The cross was not an accident.
It was not a moment of defeat.
It was not the end of Jesus’ story.
It was the greatest act of love the world has ever known.
Scripture says Jesus endured the cross for the joy set before Him.
That joy was not the nails.
Not the crown of thorns.
Not the suffering.
The joy was redeeming you.
Before you were born…
Before you made your mistakes…
Before you even knew His name…
He already chose the cross.
Every drop of blood carried a purpose.
Every moment of suffering carried a promise.
Salvation.
When Jesus hung on that cross, He was not thinking about escape.
He was thinking about you.
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
