You are blessed and in the high favor of the Lord Jesus Christ.“
For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.”
-Psalm 5:12 (KJV)
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.”
-Ephesians 1:3 (KJV)
Anything you do is blessed when Jesus is your Lord and Savior.
- Walk like it.
- Talk like it.
- Think like it.
- Act like it.
Jesus went to the cross, bled, and died to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. His blood, shed for you that day, made you righteous. When you ask for forgiveness through Jesus Christ and are baptized with the Holy Spirit, you become a child of God—a loving Father who wants to look after His children and always has their best interests at heart. His favor surrounds you—not because of your perfection, but because of Christ’s righteousness in you.
Live boldly in that blessing. Walk confidently in His favor. You are His, and He is for you. And when God is for you, it doesn’t matter who’s against you.
“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” –
–Romans 8:31-32 (KJV)
Let us live each day fearless and in full assurance that we have a God who will fight for us.“The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.”
-Exodus 14:14 (KJV)
There is no place we can go where God is not with us and willing to help us. We are His chosen, so let us act like it.“Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.”—Deuteronomy 28:6 (KJV)
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvellous light.”-
–1 Peter 2:9 (KJV)
God watches over His children at all times, and we can ask Him for anything. When we ask, let us not beat around the bush about it. He knows our hearts, souls, and minds. So when we approach God, let us keep that in mind, be bold, and lay everything on the table in prayer.“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”—Hebrews 4:16 (KJV)
Reflective Questions:
1. How can you actively “walk, talk, think, and act” in the confidence of God’s favor this week? 2. What fears or doubts might be holding you back from living boldly as a child of God, and how can you surrender them in prayer? 3. Reflect on a time when you felt God fighting for you—how does that experience strengthen your trust in His promises?
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for everything You have done for me. I ask for the boldness to talk, walk, think, and speak like Your child and to represent Christ as He did—with all boldness, authority, and grace. Lord, let me become like Him in everything I do. I want to bring You joy, Father, and do all I can to add to Your kingdom. Lead me and guide me with Your Holy Spirit. All my trust is in You, and I ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Thank you for reading. God bless you!
